My name is Stephen Pridgen and I am an avid outdoorsman. My love for the outdoors has been passed on to my two sons Christopher and Hunter. All three of us own at least one dog and love our pets very much. As an engineer in a manufacturing plant since 1983 I have contributed to the launching of products ranging from automotive airbags to upscale kitchen ranges. I enjoy developing products, implementing processes and bringing concept to reality. My sons and I are Delta Dog Manufacturing.

When confronted with a constant bombardment of ants attacking our pet's dog food, we set out to solve this problem.. We could not find any on the market already that really worked effectively and couldn't be chewed up by playful dogs. As a note, when developing this product we often questioned the logic of the time necessary to make each bowl assembly by hand and the months of searching for the best quality components. We feared no one would invest in a purchase if we strove for the ultimate feeder. Then we would laugh about our mother's $150.00 salad plates used only at Thanksgiving.
